Yes, we will accept a payment from someone who is not the account holder. However, for data protection reasons we cannot disclose any information to you regarding the account.
Can I pay my rent in cash?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept rent payments in cash at our offices.
However, you can pay cash at a Paypoint location. Please remember to take your rent card with you when paying at a Paypoint location.
Please note payments made in this way will take up to three working days to show in your rent account.

Do I get an email receipt if I make a rent payment?
You can request an email receipt if you make a payment over the phone. Email receipts are sent automatically if you pay online or via the app.

How do I change how often I make a rent payment?
Rent is due in advance. You can pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
However, if you have a court order or agreement in place on your rent account you’ll need to speak to our collections team before making any changes to when you pay. You can contact the team by calling 0300 123 3456.
How do I order a new rent card?
You can request a new rent card by email or by phone on 0300 123 3456.
You should receive the rent card within two weeks of us processing your request.
I want to set up a standing order, what are Peabody's bank details?
You can make payments to the Coutts bank account named ‘Peabody Rent Account’, Sort-Code: 18-00-02, Account Number: 0957 4174.

What are the different ways in which I can make a payment through Allpay?
• You can pay online, please ensure you have the 19 digit number from your Allpay card to hand
• By using your rent card at any post office, or shop showing a Payzone sign
• By downloading the Allpay app to your smart phone
• By calling Allpay’s call centre on 0330 135 9510 any time of the day, seven days a week.

What kind of card can I use to make a payment with?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, except American Express (Amex) and Diners Club cards.
Can I pay my rent by cheque?
No, unfortunately we cannot accept cheque payments in our offices or via post.
