From Monday 18 November until the end of January 2025, we'll be visiting some of our residents to make sure everything’s ok.

What are winter visits? 

We want to make sure your home is safe, warm and well. Every winter, we pop in to check you’re ok when the colder weather arrives. 
 
Your Neighbourhood Manager will send you a letter to let you know when we’re passing by and plan to pop in.  

What happens when we visit? 

We won't take up too much of your time. It's a quick chat to make sure you're ok and find out if there's anything you need help with, such as getting repairs done or support with paying your bills. 

During the visit, we'll:  

  • Ask if your heating and hot water is working
  • Discuss any support you need
  • Check we have the correct contact details for you
  • Show you how to use My Peabody
  • Make sure you know who your Neighbourhood Manager is and how to contact them. 

Please don't feel you have to wait for us. If you're not home when we visit, we'll leave you a note so you can get in touch to arrange another time for us to visit. 

We may also call you instead, we'll chat about all the same things as if we were visiting, it'll just be over the phone.  

Check for ID 

We’ll show you ID so you know it’s us. If you're unsure, they'll be happy to wait or come back another time if you'd like to call our contact centre to check.
