Health checks at Southall Day Centre

The Southall Day Centre hosted the second of their regular health checks earlier this month.

Delivered in partnership with Puri Pharmacy. Fifty-one customers had blood pressure and diabetes checks.  

The team introduced the initiative because customers have told them they've struggled to see their GP in person. 

"We're grateful to Puri Pharmacy for supporting our customers with this personalised programme. It supports and reinforces the importance of our wellbeing projects, including regular exercise and yoga sessions." Sukh Sandher, Southall Day Centre Manager 

Everyone enjoyed the sessions. Many commented on how much they appreciated the time with the pharmacist and requested a longer session. The team is now planning future health talks with Puri Pharmacy on some of the issues customers wanted to discuss.
