At Peabody we aim to help protect the health, human rights and wellbeing of individuals so that they can live free from harm, abuse and neglect. This is especially true of children, young people and those with additional needs. This process is called 'safeguarding' and it is embedded in all our policies and procedures.

This year, Safeguarding Awareness Week takes place between 16 to 22 November. It will focus on several themes for adults including:

• Safeguarding and wellbeing
• Adult grooming
• Understanding legislation
• Creating safer places
• Organisational abuse
• Sport and activity and
• Safeguarding in your community
