Celebrating diversity - resident celebration events

To support our value of celebrating diversity, we’re launching a new series of events for residents.

The events are open to all and will be an opportunity to celebrate and learn together, as well as find out more about how to get involved at Peabody.  

We’re planning the following events and would love to hear your ideas on others you’d like us to organise: 

• April 2024 – Eid Celebration
• June 2024 – Pride Celebration 
• October 2024 – Black History Month Celebration 
• November 2024 – Diwali Celebration 
• December 2024 – Hannukah Celebration 
• December 2024 – UN Day of Disability Celebration 
• December 2024 – Christmas Celebration 
• February 2025 – Youth Awards Celebration  
• March 2025 – Neurodiversity Week Celebration 
• April 2025 – Easter Celebration Event 

If you’d like to attend any of these events or would like more information about how you can be involved, please email the Peabody Resident Engagement Team at get.involved@peabody.org.uk  

We’ll be looking to hold events in different areas and in our community centres so keep a look out for these locally and on the events planner. 

Eid Celebration Event 

The Eid Celebration is on Saturday 27 April from 12pm-3pm at our Westminster Bridge Road office in London SE1 7JB. The event is free and open to all and will include a drinks reception, a delicious Eid meal and fun activities. It’s also an opportunity to meet Peabody colleagues and other residents and find out about the different ways you can get involved.
