Remembering Grenfell

Marking the third anniversary of the Grenfell fire.

Sunday 14 June will be the third anniversary of the fire at Grenfell Tower in London.

This year the tragedy is being marked with online events organised by community groups which can be joined via YouTube or Instagram. For example, three Bethnal Green churches, St Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey will be ringing their bells 72 times followed by a two-minute silence and vigil.

At Peabody, we'll be observing 72 seconds of silence at 3pm on Friday 12 June to remember the lives lost in the tragedy.
