Are you aged 18-25 years old and passionate about ending violence against women and girls? If yes, why not become a trainer with educational charity, Action Breaks Silence?

Published: 13/10/2023

Thanks to a grant from our Peabody Project Fund, they’re hiring 12 Peabody residents to help them provide training sessions and workshops in primary schools across London.

What’s involved and how to apply

Action Breaks Silence is looking to recruit between four-six young people. You’ll be trained as a group ready to deliver the programme together.

You need to be aged 18-25 years old and willing to travel around London to provide the training.

You’ll be given 30 hours training and programme preparation. Once you’ve been fully trained, you’ll be able to teach the Action Breaks Silence primary school programme and their Empowerment Through Self Defence and Masculinity workshops.

You’ll be paid £11.95 per hour for your 30 hours of training and for your time delivering each workshop. All your travel expenses will also be covered.

If you’d like to apply to become a trainer on this programme, please send your CV and a cover letter explaining why you want to be involved to lauren@actionbreakssilence.org

This is a rolling application with no set closing date.
